What’s yours?\nPosition Overview\nAre you an HR professional who enjoys being close to the action, building relationships and making a real difference on the ground?\nAt Hunter Douglas, we’re looking for an HR Advisor to support our Supply Team across manufacturing, warehouse and supply operations at our Rydalmere site. This is a great opportunity to broaden your HR experience across employee relations, industrial relations and the full employee lifecycle in a hands-on manufacturing environment.\nYou'll play an important role in supporting our leaders, strengthening HR practices and creating a positive workplace for our people.\nWhat you'll do\nProvide practical HR advice and support to leaders and employees across a range of people matters.\nSupport the interpretation and application of the Enterprise Agreement (EBA), Modern Awards and relevant employment legislation.\nAssist with employee relations matters, including performance management, grievances and workplace investigations.\nSupport EBA negotiations through research, data analysis and preparation of relevant documentation.\nCoordinate workers’ compensation and return-to-work processes in partnership with WHS and external stakeholders.\nSupport recruitment, onboarding, performance management and other core HR activities across the employee lifecycle.\nContribute to the implementation of the HD Management System and employee engagement initiatives across Supply.\nMonitor HR metrics and workforce trends to identify opportunities for improvement and support informed decision-making.\nAll other duties as assigned\nWho you are\nProven experience in an HR Advisor role, ideally within manufacturing, logistics or another operational environment.\nStrong working knowledge of employment legislation, Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements, with experience in a unionised workplace highly regarded.\nDemonstrated experience managing employee relations matters, including performance management, grievances and workplace investigations.\nPractical experience with workers’ compensation and return-to-work processes.\nConfident providing HR advice and guidance to leaders, with the ability to influence outcomes and navigate challenging conversations.\nStrong judgement and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage sensitive matters independently and balance competing priorities.\nA hands-on approach and the confidence to build relationships with employees and leaders, including working directly with teams on the factory floor.\nTertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related field is desirable.\nWhat's in it for you\nMake a real impact across our people and Supply operations.\nA company culture that prioritises internal development and professional growth\nJoin a collaborative team within a global organisation.\nOnsite parking\nEnjoy paid birthday leave, monthly office celebrations and access to social club.\nPlease note, all offers presented to candidates are carefully crafted to ensure market competitiveness, equity, and reflect the individual candidate’s education, experience, skills and potential.\nBy submitting your application below, you are providing your prior consent to receive SMS messages to notify you of any updates to your application status and to engage in discussion throughout your application process.
