What’s yours?\nPosition Overview\nThe Industrial Engineer plays a critical role in optimizing manufacturing operations by designing efficient plant layouts, improving process flows, and establishing accurate labor and capacity requirements. This position partners closely with Operations, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement teams to drive safety, productivity, quality, and delivery performancewhilesupportingnewproductlaunchesandoperationalexcellenceinitiatives.Throughdata-drivenanalysisandprocessoptimization,the IndustrialEngineerhelpsensurethefacilityoperatesatpeakefficiencyandispositionedtomeetcustomerandbusinessobjectives.\nWhat you'll do\nDevelop,implement,andoptimizeplantlayouts,processlayouts,andmaterialflowstrategiestoimprovesafety,quality,andoperationalefficiency.\n\nConductcycletimestudies,laboranalyses,andworkforceplanningactivitiestosupportproductionrequirementsandcapacityutilization.\n\nAnalyzeproductionprocessesandbalancemanufacturinglinestomaximizeproductivityandeliminateinefficiencies.\n\nPerformergonomicassessmentsandsafetyevaluations,implementingcorrectiveactionstoreduceriskandimproveworkplaceconditions.\n\nLeadandparticipateinindustrialengineeringstudies,capacityanalyses,andcontinuousimprovementinitiativesacrossmanufacturingoperations.\n\nSupportnewproductlaunchesandprocesstransfersbyestablishinglayouts,processflows,cycletimes,andstaffingrequirements.\n\nPartnerwithcross-functionalteamstodevelopandmaintainstandardwork,operationalmetrics,andperformanceimprovementplans.\n\nIdentifyandremoveindustrialengineering-relatedbarriersthatmayimpactsafety,quality,productivity,ordeliveryperformance.\n\nAll other duties as assigned\nWho you are\nBachelor'sdegreeinIndustrialEngineering,ManufacturingEngineering,MechanicalEngineering,orarelatedengineeringdiscipline.\n\nMinimumof3yearsofIndustrialEngineeringexperienceinamanufacturingenvironment;5+yearspreferred.\n\nDemonstratedexperienceconductingtimestudies,laborplanning,cycletimeanalysis,andcapacityplanning.\n\nKnowledgeofplantlayoutdesign,processoptimization,linebalancing,andworkflowimprovementmethodologies.\n\nExperienceperformingergonomicassessmentsandapplyingworkplacesafetyprinciplesinmanufacturingenvironments.\n\nStronganalytical,problem-solving,anddatainterpretationskillswiththeabilitytomakedata-drivenrecommendations.\n\nEffectivecommunicationandcollaborationskillswiththeabilitytoinfluencecross-functionalteamsandstakeholders.\n\nProvenabilitytomanagemultiplepriorities,projects,anddeadlinesinafast-pacedenvironment.\n\nProficiencyinMicrosoftOfficeapplications,particularlyExcel;familiaritywithLeanManufacturingandContinuousImprovementmethodologiespreferred.\n\nAbilitytoworkinbothofficeandmanufacturingenvironments,includingstanding,walking,climbingstairs/ladders,andoccasionallyassistingwithmovingmaterialsweighing50poundsormore;abilitytotravel10%+asneeded.\n\nWhat's in it for you?\nAnnual base salary range: $97,000- $105,000\nBonus target range: 20-30%\nGenerous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability\nA company culture that prioritizes internal development and professional growth\nTime off with pay \n401(k) plan with a degree of employer matching\nPaid parental leave\nWellness programs and product discounts\nPlease note, all offers presented to candidates are carefully crafted to ensure market competitiveness, equity, and reflect the individual candidate’s education, experience, skills and potential.\nHunter Douglas is an Equal Opportunity Employer and complies with applicable employment laws.
