What’s yours?\nPosition Overview:\nWe're looking for an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Engineer to join our Production team at UniLux in Boxtel. As part of Hunter Douglas, UniLux develops and manufactures high-quality insect screen solutions for both the Dutch and international markets. Based at our production facility, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of our production equipment. \nIn this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing machinery and installations across the production environment. You will work with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automation systems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency. \nThis is a fully onsite position, requiring attendance at our Boxtel office five days per week.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\nPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and equipment\nDiagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automation-related faults\nSupport the installation, commissioning, and optimization of new machinery and production systems\nMinimize machine downtime through effective troubleshooting and repair activities\nRead and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics\nEnsure maintenance activities are completed safely and in accordance with company standards\nIdentify opportunities for process and equipment improvements\nCollaborate closely with production teams to maintain efficient operations\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nMBO or HBO qualification in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical field\nMinimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance engineering or similar technical role\nStrong knowledge of electrical engineering, mechanics, and pneumatics\nKnowledge of hydraulics is considered an advantage\nExperience repairing machinery and industrial installations\nGeneral knowledge of automation, electronics, and industrial production environment\nAbility to independently troubleshoot and solve technical issue\nAbility to read electrical and pneumatic diagrams\nGood communication skills in both Dutch and English\nProactive, solution-oriented, and able to work effectively within a team\nIf this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.
