Summary:
The Insurance Sales and Relationship Manager- Property & Casualty Small Commercial is expected to lead a team of Dedicated Insurance Sales Executive in Small Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance Line of Business in addition to managing their own pipeline, new business development and supporting the relationship management of their referral segments. Their compensation is a base salary, plus first year new business incentive and an annual bonus.
Duties and Responsibilities as Manager:
- Responsible for training and developing producers in conjunction with corporate product and sales training program.
- Direct and monitors producer sales plans, goals, and activities.
- Manages producers to properly record required sales activity information in the agency management system.
- Actively supports and monitors activities with bank partners & referrals of more complex opportunities to Mid/Large team.
- Develops and implements a producer succession plan for departing sales team members.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities as Dedicated Sales Executive:
- Inside Sales Commercial Property and Casualty Products
- Relationship Management within business segments to develop referral opportunities
- Pipeline Management, Customer Service, Training, Carrier Education
- Risk Management and Compliance
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 Years Insurance Experience, in sales-related Property & Casualty role.
- Property & Casualty License.
- An ability to lead and manage a team, effectively manage their and their team’s pipeline, status of opportunities and other key metrics for their role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Engagement with Small Commercial Insurance carrier partner leadership
- Additional licensing is preferred; Insurance designations in their line of business are a plus
