The primary focus is automating development and delivery processes and maintaining the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nStreamline the data, analytics, and model development lifecycle by identifying pain points and productivity barriers and determining ways to resolve them through automation.\n\nUnderstand the current process and technical complexities of developing and deploying data pipelines and model builds and develop automation solutions to improve and extend the existing process to become an unattended delivery pipeline.\n\nCollaborate closely with product development, architecture, data engineering and testing teams to understand their current build and release processes and make recommendations for improvement through the automation of various tasks.\n\nPartner with cross-functional stakeholders, including development, operations, quality assurance and security, to streamline processes.\n\nDevelop and continuously improve automation solutions for containerized workloads on AWS EKS to enable teams to build and deploy quality data and code efficiently and consistently.\n\nBuild automated testing solutions in support of quality management objectives to reduce manual effort.\n\nBuild automated environment provisioning solutions leveraging AWS EKS and Terraform in response to changes in processing demand.\n\nBuild automated feedback mechanisms to monitor the performance of models in production.\n\nDesign and maintain AWS EKS infrastructure for ML model deployment, including containerization strategies, resource optimization, OAuth 2.0 integration, security posture management, and disaster recovery planning.\n\nDesign and implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions for EKS workloads.\n\nImplement and maintain secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth 2.0 within Kubernetes environments.\n\nWork closely with cross-functional stakeholders to analyze and troubleshoot complex production issues.\n\nPrepare and present design and implementation documentation to multiple stakeholders.\n\nPromote automation across the data management and analytics delivery organization.\n\nProvide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to team members and develop team to work with all areas of the organization.\n\nWork with stakeholders to ensure that business needs are clearly understood and that services meet those needs.\n\nAnticipate and analyze trends in technology while assessing the emerging technology’s impact(s).\n\nCoach individuals and teams through change and serve as a role model.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree (Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics or related fields) or equivalent relevant work experience\n\n7+ years’ experience in automation engineering, software engineering, or related field\n\n7+ years’ experience with one or more coding languages (e.g., JavaScript, C++, Python, Java), CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Artifactory, CircleCI, Ansible), and development platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes)\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n3+ years' hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including understanding of core objects (namespaces, deployments, pods, services, virtual services, service accounts)\n\nExperience with OAuth 2.0 authentication protocols and implementing security best practices in Kubernetes environments\n\nKubernetes certification (CKAD - Certified Kubernetes Application Developer or CKA - Certified Kubernetes Administrator)\n\nExperience with managed Kubernetes services (AWS EKS, GKE, or Azure Kubernetes Service\n\nDocker and Vulnerability management of docker images\n\nEstablishment and adherence to Kubernetes Operational Metrics\n\nDeep experience with AWS EKS-specific services including VPC CNI networking, EBS/EFS persistent storage solutions, IAM roles for service accounts (IRSA), and EKS add-ons\n\nExperience with Kubernetes Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Helm charts\n\nKnowledge of Kubernetes security posture management, RBAC, network policies, and cluster hardening\n\nExperience with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio) and understanding of virtual service configurations\n\nHands-on experience managing multi-environment Kubernetes clusters (dev, sandbox, production)\n\nAbility to demonstrate backup and disaster recovery strategies in Kubernetes environments\n\nExposure to advanced networking solutions such as Cilium for network security and observability\n\nUnderstanding of Kubernetes observability and monitoring (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch)\n\nExperience developing CI/CD workflows and tools\n\nStrong automation scripting skills\n\nExperience in configuration management, test-driven development, and release management\n\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills\n\nExperience with agile development and strong understanding of DataOps and ModelOps principles\n\nAbility to investigate and analyze information, and to draw conclusions\n\nFlexibility, adaptability, and desire to learn new languages and technologies\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\n\nDemonstrated ability to work independently across multiple tasks while meeting aggressive timelines\n\nStrategic, intellectually curious thinker with focus on outcomes\n\nFinancial Services background\n\nProfessional image with the ability to form relationships across functions\n\nAbility to train more junior analysts regarding day-to-day activities, as necessary\n\nProven ability to lead cross-functional efforts\n\nWillingness and ability to learn new technologies on the job\n\n Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)\nYesWorkplace Type:\nOfficeOur Approach to Office Workplace Type\nCertain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement.
