In addition to its oil and gas operations, Hunt Oil participates in global LNG development, with production facilities operating in Peru since 2010 and in Yemen since 2009.\nJob Description:\nWe are currently seeking a Petroleum Engineer Intern for the Well Construction department located in our Dallas, TX office. This is a paid summer internship opportunity with housing provided if needed.\nThe intern will work on multiple well construction projects associated with Hunt's operated Bakken (unconventional) assets.\nResponsibilities:\nReport Preparation: Help prepare detailed reports on drilling activities, including daily progress, equipment performance, and any encountered issues.\nField Visits: Participate in field visits to drilling sites to gain hands-on experience and understand the practical aspects of drilling operations.\nSoftware Utilization: Learn and utilize industry-specific software for modeling and simulation of drilling operations.\nCollaboration: Work closely with other engineers and team members to ensure smooth and efficient drilling operations.\nBudgeting: Participate in the development of short- and long-term objectives and capital and expense budgets, ensuring compatibility with and support of overall company goals and objectives. \nEngineering: Engineer, design, and technically support operational execution of new well drilling projects.
