This position will report to the Accounting Manager.\nJob Scope\nThe Accounts Payable Representative is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and related Accounts Payable transactions, resolution of invoice and purchasing exceptions, preparation of payment information, vendor account reconciliation, and execution of Accounts Payable controls. The position works closely with Procurement, Operations, Accounting, Treasury, internal business partners, and external suppliers to resolve invoice, purchase order, receiving, and payment-related issues. Accounts Payable processing is performed in SAP Business One for the HBS US and Canada businesses.\nIn summary, as the Accounts Payable Representative, you will:\nProcess PO and non-PO supplier invoices in SAP Business One.\nReview purchase orders and goods receipts and resolve invoice discrepancies.\nResearch and resolve invoice exceptions with Procurement, Operations, Receiving, Accounting, and suppliers.\nProcess invoices involving partial or multiple goods receipts.\nProcess intercompany invoices and related Accounts Payable transactions.\nProcess approved vendor credit memos and maintain appropriate documentation.\nVerify invoice information, payment terms, and supplier details before payment.\nConduct duplicate-invoice reviews and coordinate issue resolution.\nPrepare payment runs, payment proposals, and manual payment information for Treasury processing.\nReconcile vendor statements and investigate outstanding differences.\nMaintain supporting documentation and control evidence in SharePoint.\nSupport audit requests, control testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nQualifications\nYou must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.\nThe candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in Costa Rica.\nAll candidates are expected to work at our office in AFZ, Heredia on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
