The position provides leadership to a team of procurement professionals and partners closely with Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, R&D, and senior leaders to drive sourcing strategies, supplier performance, cost competitiveness, and supply continuity.\nIn summary, as the AMER Purchasing Manager, you will:\nLead and develop a team of three procurement professionals across the Americas region.\nExecute global sourcing strategies and align them with regional business and manufacturing requirements.\nDrive sourcing initiatives focused on cost reduction, supply resilience, working capital improvement, and business performance.\nLead complex supplier negotiations and develop long-term supply agreements.\nAnalyze market intelligence, supplier performance, spend data, and supply risks to support business decisions.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities in alternative sourcing, supplier consolidation, specification changes, portfolio optimization, and inventory management.\nManage supplier relationships and performance across cost, quality, delivery, innovation, and risk metrics.\nSupport manufacturing sites in resolving critical supply, quality, and contractual issues.\nDevelop business cases and provide recommendations to senior leadership.\nEnsure compliance with Huntsman policies, purchasing procedures, contracts, and applicable regulations.\nParticipate in global procurement initiatives, transformation programs, and cross-regional projects.\nFoster a culture of accountability, collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.\nQualifications\nYou must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
