This position will report to the Engineering Manager.\nJob Scope\nUtilizes technical information and knowledge of chemistry to design and develop the processes that make a diverse range of chemical products. Work will focus on an understanding of how to efficiently alter raw materials into desired products while minimizing health and safety, and cost\nrisks.\nIn summary, as the Chemical Process Engineer, you will:\nDeploy new processes and systems for chemical manufacturing from utilizing engineering principles to overseeing process implementation.\n\nLead technical development efforts at the site level from evaluating data to generating training materials and work procedures.\n\nExecute projects for manufacturing processes and systems utilizing effective project management techniques and coordinating activities with internal and external resources.\n\nMaintain technical documentation for process systems and evaluations (i.e.; generating and updating drawings, calculations, and design specifications).\n\nMonitor and maximize process capabilities (quality, cycle times, costs, etc.) for existing products and processes.\n\nEssential functions require presence in the workplace on a regular basis and an ability to work extra hours if needed. If applicable, ability to work overtime may be needed to ensure required staffing capacity to meet daily production objectives.\n\nWork collaboratively with team members with different backgrounds and perspectives.\n\nAssists other employees in accomplishments of Huntsman company goals. Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.\n\nParticipates in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company. Participates in and completes company-required training programs.\n\nQualifications\nYou must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
