Job Description: Controls Engineer Huntsman is seeking a Controls Engineer supporting the Polyurethanes Division located in Ringwood, Illinois. This position will report to the Engineering Manager. Job Scope The Controls Engineer is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing plant automation and control systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations. This role combines hands-on technical support with continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on equipment reliability, cybersecurity, compliance, and production performance within an industrial manufacturing environment. In summary, as the Controls Engineer, you will: Modify, maintain, and troubleshoot control systems including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and industrial control networks. Diagnose automation and controls issues to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability. Provide support for IT/OT networks, including network segmentation and operational cybersecurity. Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards, electrical codes, OSHA requirements, and internal policies.
