Apply today!\nRole Responsibilities:\nAs an Intern in Data Science, you will be responsible for:\nCompile and analyze experimental data from archived projects to be utilized in data science initiatives\nBuild, maintain, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines that acquire, ingest, and process data from multiple sources into the enterprise Generative AI Platform.\nDevelop, prototype, and test LLM-based architectures and agentic systems for processing large-scale structured and unstructured datasets.\nCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team to translate domain-specific problems into computational solutions, such as retrieval, ranking, and reasoning, in the fields of chemistry and materials science.\nAssist in the automation of manual processes & dashboards.\nParticipate in code reviews and agile development cycles.\nDocument data processing scripts, data workflows and generate technical reports.\nWork closely with a multidisciplinary team within Huntsman Advanced Materials, reporting into the Technology Department.\nExperience and Competencies:\nWe are looking for candidates with a strong interest in data science, digital transformation, and applied AI technologies, who are motivated to learn and contribute in an international, collaborative environment.\nWhat we are looking for:\nBachelor’s degree completed or currently enrolled in a Master’s programme in computer science, applied mathematics, engineering, or statistics.\nStrong programming skills in Python; JavaScript is a plus.\nFamiliarity with LLMs, vector databases, and prompt engineering concepts.\nFamiliarity with cloud service platforms, such as Azure.\nBasic knowledge of web development frameworks and SQL.\nBasic knowledge of machine learning is a plus.\nKnowledge of chemistry or materials science is a plus.\nPassion to learn and a collaborative mindset.\nFluent in English.\nA proactive attitude, strong communication skills, and motivation to contribute to digital transformation in a technology-driven environment.\nWhat next?\nIf you would like to join an innovative, collaborative and multicultural team, please apply now.
