Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. \nThe candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Science, or a related scientific or technical field.\nAt least five years of quality control, laboratory, chemical manufacturing, or comparable technical manufacturing experience.\nDemonstrated knowledge of laboratory testing, test methods, specifications, and quality documentation.\nExperience with SAP or a comparable ERP/quality system.\nBasic computer and mathematical skills and the ability to accurately review and complete laboratory, quality, and manufacturing documentation.\nDemonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, exercise sound quality judgment, and appropriately escalate quality or safety concerns.\nAbility to safely work with reactive, hazardous, and industrial chemicals.\nAbility to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious leadership, supervisory, coaching, or training experience in a laboratory or quality environment.\nExperience in chemical, adhesive, resin, hardener, composite, or related manufacturing.\nExperience with AS9100, ISO 9001, SPC/SQC, or comparable quality systems and tools.\nExperience with OOS, deviations, NCRs, CAPA, root cause analysis, laboratory trending, or troubleshooting.\nSuccess in This Role\nMaintain safe, compliant, and reliable QC laboratory operations across applicable shifts.\nBuild and maintain a qualified, cross-trained QC team that effectively supports manufacturing requirements.\nDeliver accurate and timely testing and release decisions while maintaining independent quality judgment.\nProvide effective people leadership while remaining technically capable of supporting testing and troubleshooting when needed.\nIdentify and address quality, staffing, training, and operational risks while driving continuous improvement.\nWork Schedule\nThis position supports continuous manufacturing operations. QC currently operates across multiple shifts on a 24/7 schedule and may operate on a 24/5 or 24/7 schedule based on business needs.\nThe QC Supervisor will have a primary assigned shift while providing leadership support across QC operations. The position is expected to be reasonably available for urgent off-shift issues, including onsite or remote support when needed, and may provide leadership coverage when the QC Manager is unavailable.\nWork Environment & Physical Requirements\nWork in laboratory and chemical manufacturing environments around reactive, hazardous, and industrial chemicals and wear required PPE.\nFrequently stand, walk, reach, and perform laboratory activities for extended periods.\nSafely handle samples, laboratory materials, containers, equipment, and analytical instruments.\nPerform detailed work requiring accuracy and the ability to distinguish colors or visual characteristics when required.\nWork in areas where temperature, noise, odors, or other manufacturing conditions may vary.\nWhat can we offer you?\nSalary: $95,000-$120,000 per year\nThe compensation range reflects the Company’s reasonable expectation at the time of posting, considering education, experience, and training.\nHuntsman offers outstanding benefits which start from Day One.\nCompetitive healthcare, dental, and vision.\nOne additional week of paid time off - on top of vacation.\n401k - Huntsman automatically contributes 6% of eligible pay, regardless of employee contribution.
