Apply today!\nRole Responsibilities:\nAs a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for:\nLeading the Quality Control and Quality Assurance functions at the Duxford site, including two direct reports and oversight of the wider QC and QA teams. \nDeveloping team capability, engagement and accountability through coaching, performance management, succession planning and effective resource planning. \nMaintaining, developing and continuously improving the site Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001, AS/EN 9100, customer, corporate and regulatory requirements. \nActing as the site Quality Management Representative. \nLeading internal, customer, supplier, regulatory and certification audits, ensuring effective preparation and timely closure of findings. \nProviding governance for product release decisions, including release, hold, concession, re-test and rejection processes. \nEnsuring effective QC laboratory performance, testing controls, calibration, method validation, data integrity and traceability. \nManaging customer complaints, internal non-conformances, out-of-specification results, deviations and other quality events. \nLeading root-cause analysis, 8D, corrective and preventive actions and ensuring their effectiveness. \nEstablishing, monitoring and reporting key Quality KPIs, including, but not limited to, complaint performance, audit closure, right-first-time, release performance, overdue actions, non-conformance trends and laboratory effectiveness. \nDriving quality improvement plans and promoting a continuous-improvement and right-first-time culture. \nWorking closely with Production, Supply Chain, EHS, Engineering, Procurement, R&T, Regulatory, Commercial and Global Quality teams. \nRepresenting Quality at Site Leadership Team level and providing clear, evidence-based advice to the Site Manager and wider leadership team. \nBuilding effective relationships with customers, suppliers, certification bodies and regulatory or external audit organisations. \nExperience and Competencies:\nWhat we are looking for:\nA strong chemical-industry or comparable technical background, with the ability to understand technical issues and support effective root-cause analysis. Pharmaceutical or relevant mechanical experience may also be considered. \nPractical experience leading Quality Control and Quality Assurance teams, including people management, performance management and capability development. \nExperience maintaining certified Quality Management Systems and managing internal, customer, supplier and external certification audits. \nKnowledge of ISO 9001; accredited knowledge is preferred. \nKnowledge of AS 9100 and customer-specific requirements would be advantageous. \nStrong knowledge of laboratory operations and quality control methodologies, including analytical methods, calibration, method validation, Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Statistical Quality Control (SQC), control charts and statistical process control, testing controls and product-release requirements. \nExperience managing quality documentation, records, data integrity and controlled quality systems. \nExperience managing resources, priorities and cross-functional quality-improvement projects. \nStrong leadership, communication, influencing and stakeholder-management skills. \nAn analytical, data-led approach to problem solving and decision-making. \nA strong customer focus, quality and continuous-improvement mindset. \nWhat We Offer:\nAt Huntsman, we want our employees to feel supported both professionally and personally.
