This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll operations while partnering closely with HR, Finance, Legal, and external providers.\nKey Responsibilities\nPayroll Processing (Brazil Payroll)\nPrepare, audit, and process Advance Payroll and Monthly Payroll.\nEnsure accurate calculation of wages, deductions, bonuses, commissions, taxes, and other payroll-related payments.\nReconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports.\nExecute post-payroll activities, including accounting entries, funding, and internal controls.\nExecute termination procedures, including required documentation, payment and tax calculations, and payments to terminated employees.\nManage the vacation process, including verification of calculations, signatures, and payments.\nProcess time and attendance data and support management with absence administration and reporting.\nAdminister private pension processes, including enrollment of new employees, presentations, and monthly payments.\nPartner with the external legal provider to prepare documentation for labor lawsuits, organize supporting records, and attend court hearings representing the company.\nProvide required employee data to health and safety and training providers for monthly updates.\nProcess monthly and annual union-related payments.\nCoordinate certificate renewals with the payroll provider.\nSystem Integration & Data Management\nMaintain, validate, and audit employee data in Propay, ensuring accuracy and alignment with Workday.\nPartner with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate and seamless data flow across systems and integrations.\nCompliance & Reporting\nEnsure compliance with applicable Brazilian payroll, labor, tax, federal, and state regulations.\nPrepare and submit payroll-related reports, including tax filings and ad-hoc reporting.\nSupport internal and external audits by providing accurate and timely documentation.\nRespond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.\nProcess Improvement\nIdentify and implement opportunities to streamline payroll processes and improve accuracy.\nParticipate in system upgrades, testing cycles, and implementation of new payroll features.\nEmployee & Stakeholder Support\nRespond to employee and stakeholder inquiries related to payroll, deductions, timekeeping, and related processes.\nProvide guidance on payroll policies, procedures, and best practices.\nMaintain a customer-focused approach while managing sensitive or complex payroll matters.\nMinimum Qualifications\nThe candidate must have unrestricted authorization to work for Huntsman in Brazil.\nTo be considered, candidates must meet all of the following:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.\nMinimum of 3 years of hands-on payroll experience.\nStrong knowledge and practical application of Brazilian payroll regulations and tax requirements.\nIntermediate Excel proficiency.\nExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.\nAbility to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to effectively manage deadlines and priorities.\nDemonstrated accountability, teamwork, and self-driven approach.\nPreferred Qualifications\nStrong written and verbal communication skills in English (minimum B2).\nExperience with payroll reporting and analytics.\nFamiliarity with timekeeping systems and payroll integrations.\nAdvanced Excel proficiency.\nExperience processing payroll for additional countries.\nExperience working with Workday and/or Propay.\nAbility to work effectively in an ambiguous, fast-paced, and rapidly changing environment.\nStrong
