As a Service Engineer, you will be the go-to person who provides vital assistance to customers when they need it most. You will be responsible for ensuring our customer is ready to go as soon as their brand-new machine arrives. You will primarily be onsite at the customer site, but occasional travel by car and air is required for this position.\nHurco's corporate headquarters is located in Indianapolis, Indiana and travel will also be required to our home office, as well as occasional travel to other customer sites.\nResponsibilities\nPre-installation review: before shipping a new machine, review installation recommendations and processes with the customer.\nMachine Installation: oversee the assembly of machines at the customer’s facility.\nInspection and demonstration: inspect, adjust, and start up newly installed machines. Make recommendations as needed to ensure proper specification compliance. Demonstrate safe setup, operation, and maintenance protocols. \nMaintenance and Repair: Provide warranty and non-warranty service including problem identification, maintenance, repair services, and training as required.
