Document and\nfollow up on important actions from meetings.\nCommunicate regularly with supervisors, design and production teams,\nand cross-functional collaborators.\nUnderstand and execute project goals and maintain schedules.\nTrack tasks using project management tools.\nHow you’ll contribute:\nPrint/Digital Design: Implement product-specific visual\ndesign plans across print and digital mediums. Navigate project\nconstraints to build meaningful design experiences.\neBook Remediation: Perform detailed reviews of\nvendor-generated content and provide actionable feedback to\nensure consistency with the established visual design, text\nstyling, page structure, and accessibility standards.\nArt Development: Revise and resize existing art to meet\neReader requirements, including accessibility standards, before\nproduction and during remediation.\nDocumentation: Mark up PDFs, noting reading order, image\nsize guidance, or image adaptations to guide vendor production.\nContribute to existing style guides and prototypes as needed.\nProject Management: Have a command of iterative design\nworkflows and print and digital processes.\nProduction: Ensure files meet accessibility and production\nrequirements to support efficient handoffs.\nMentorship: Serve as a resource for other designers, give\nspecific feedback and guidance when necessary, and share\nknowledge of new tools and experiences.\nWhat You’ll Bring\nCreative problem-solver, capable of engaging with both mathematics and literacy\ncurriculums.\nA strong appreciation and understanding of both print and UX design best practices\nand WCAG standards.\nWorking knowledge of HTML and CSS.\nDemonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.\nDeadline-driven mindset.\nOrganizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple\nprojects at once.\nExcellent communication, collaboration, and listening skills, proactively asks\nquestions.\nOpenness and ability to apply constructive feedback.\nEagerness to learn.\nKey Skills & Expertise\nExperience designing digital learning materials is preferred.\nLanguage:\n(Bonus) Proficiency in Spanish\nSoftware:\n(Expert) Design/edit layouts, create stylesheets and templates: Adobe InDesign,\nAdobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop\n(Proficient) Design/edit prototypes: Figma and Web Developer Tools\n(Proficient) Collaboration and project management: Mural, SharePoint, Smartsheet\n(Proficient) Setting and reviewing math equations: MathML and MathType\n(Bonus) File and asset management: Woodwing Studio and Woodwing Assets\n(Bonus) Familiarity with AI Tools (i.e. Claude) to make Design review functions\nmore efficient and to aid with developing Design solutions at scale\nExperience & Education\n3-5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is\nrequired.\nA portfolio of work;
