The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with strong technical knowledge, effective communication, and collaborative mindset with a commitment to operational excellence.\nWhat You Need to Know:\nCollaborate with the Supervisor and Maintenance team to prioritize tasks, and train operators in safe, efficient procedures.\n\nComplete MHE (Material Handling Equipment) certification and train associates as required.\n\nPerform and train all departmental functions.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to systems and equipment..\n\nRespond promptly to urgent repairs and ensure tasks are completed without delay.\n\nSchedule and manage non-urgent maintenance proactively.\n\nMaintain 5S standards; ensure tools and supplies are organized and accessible..\n\nPlan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance; maintain accurate records.\n\nCoordinate vendor services and communicate scheduling with the Supervisor.\n\nManage spare parts inventory in alignment with vendor recommendations and equipment needs.\n\nProcess purchase orders for departmental and warehouse needs, including order entry and pickup.\n\nFoster a positive team culture through clear communication and collaboration.\n\nSupport the Supervisor in delivering shift updates and operational feedback, including end of shift reports / pass downs.\n\nConduct routine inspections of equipment, conveyors, racking, and systems to identify maintenance needs.\n\nDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, coordinate with Supervisor for scheduling or external support.\n\nParticipate in daily pre-shift and end-of-shift meetings.\n\nEnforce compliance with safety policies, including PPE, and forklift operation.\n\nAssist in developing and implementing departmental strategies.\n\nMaintain open communication with the Supervisor, team, and leadership.\n\nPerform additional duties as assigned.\n\nWhat We Are Looking For:\nMinimum of high school education/GED, plus at least two years of experience in a in a fast-paced distribution environment is required.\n\nDemonstrated ability to direct the work and train department operators.\n\n100% compliance with Husqvarna’s governing policies and procedures.\n\nSet the example, be a Role Model for others to follow.\n\nMust be able to multi-task, exhibit strong leadership skills and be forklift certified.\n\nStrong teamwork, interpersonal and oral/written communications skills are required - both in group and one-on-one settings.\n\nAcceptable attendance record.\n\nA demonstrated willingness for continual learning and skill development.\n\nMinimal personal computer skills including, but not limited to: MS Office Software applications.\n\nAbility to work overtime, off shifts and weekends as needed.\n\nHusqvarna provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
