This position involves leading complex market analyses, spearheading mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities, supporting strategic investments and developing strategic partnerships. The principal collaborates closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to identify and execute high-impact opportunities, perform detailed financial evaluations, and deliver strategic recommendations.\nSome of the key responsibilities you should expect are the following:\nStrategic Market Analysis:\nLead comprehensive market research to identify industry trends, competitive dynamics, and potential growth opportunities.\nDevelop and present market analyses and strategic insights to senior leadership to inform business strategy.\nFinancial Evaluation and Modeling:\nCreate and manage sophisticated financial models to evaluate the financial implications of potential ASIC acquisitions, strategic investments, operating fleet optimizations and other business opportunities.\nConduct thorough due diligence on strategy, including financial analysis and risk assessment.\nStrategic Initiatives:\nIdentify, evaluate, and execute investment opportunities, from initial screening to integration planning, and through implementation.\nPrepare detailed investment memoranda, board presentations, and other documentation to support decision-making processes.\nRecommend operating enhancements with a goal of profit maximization of operating ASIC mining fleet.\nDeal Structuring and Negotiation:\nAssist in structuring and negotiating deal terms, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.\nManage relationships with external parties, including key partners, consultants, and legal counsel, to facilitate transaction processes.\nCross-Functional Collaboration:\nPartner with internal teams, including finance, legal, operations, and corporate development, to ensure seamless execution and integration of strategic initiatives.\nAct as a liaison between the ASIC Compute Strategy team and other departments to foster collaboration and alignment on strategic goals.\nPerformance Monitoring and Reporting:\nTrack and report on the performance of and strategic decisions for the operating ASIC Mining fleet, providing insights and recommendations for future opportunities.\nDevelop and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate progress and outcomes to senior management.\nAll other duties as assigned\nABOUT YOU\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is highly preferred.\n2+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or a related field.\nDirect experience in Bitcoin, Bitcoin mining, or energy are a encouraged but not a requirement.\nAdvanced financial modeling and analytical skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.\nStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.\nExceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.\nThe ideal candidate is resilient, adaptable, and excited by the varied challenges that come with a hands-on role in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.\nHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skills.\nABOUT THE WORK ENVIRONMENT\nThis role is in office at our corporate headquarters in the Brickell area of Miami, Florida.
