This individual will play a key role in evaluating and executing strategic and financial initiatives, including financing activities, investment opportunities, joint ventures, and M&A across our AI, advanced computing, and energy ecosystem.\nThe ideal candidate has a strong background in corporate finance, investment banking, or private equity, with a focus on AI infrastructure, digital infrastructure, data centers, or technology/energy sectors. This role offers direct exposure to Hut 8's high-priority corporate development initiatives and a clear path to collaborate with senior leadership by contributing to, and eventually driving, these strategic financial decisions.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nFinancial Modeling & Analysis\nBuild Financial Models: Develop and maintain detailed financial and operating models to evaluate data center developments, GPU procurement, and infrastructure investments.\n\nScenario Analysis: Conduct analysis of alternative capital structures, financing scenarios, lease vs. buy options, and sensitivity cases.\n\nExecutive Presentation: Prepare valuation materials, transaction summaries, and strategic analyses to support decision-making for the executive team and the Board.\n\nDeal Execution\nSupport Deal Lifecycle: Participate in the full transaction process, from initial screening and financial evaluation through due diligence, structuring, and closing.\n\nValuation Ownership: Manage valuation workstreams, including DCF, comparable company/transaction analysis, and unit economics modeling for high-performance computing (HPC) assets.\n\nMarket Research: Monitor and analyze trends in the AI landscape, hyperscaler demand, and energy infrastructure to help validate new growth opportunities.\n\nCreate Materials: Draft investment committee memos, board presentations, and marketing materials for lenders and investors.\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration & Project Management\nInternal Coordination: Work closely with teams across Data Center Development, Energy Origination, EPC, Treasury, Legal, and Accounting to ensure seamless transaction execution.\n\nManage Diligence: Coordinate due diligence processes, acting as a central point of contact for internal stakeholders and external advisors (legal, tax, technical).\n\nRelationship Support: Help maintain and cultivate relationships with investment banks, technology vendors, and institutional investors.\n\nABOUT YOU\nExperience: 1-3 years of experience in investment banking (TMT, Digital Infrastructure, or Power/Energy groups), private equity, infrastructure funds, or a corporate development role within the tech or utility sector.\n\nTechnical Skills: Strong financial modeling capabilities and a solid understanding of corporate finance principles and transaction mechanics.\n\nIndustry Interest: Familiarity with or a strong interest in the economics of data centers, AI compute infrastructure, power constraints, and cloud ecosystems.\n\nWork Ethic: Highly organized with strong attention to detail, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.\n\nCommunication: Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the professional maturity to interface with senior executives and external partners.\n\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.\n\nABOUT THE WORK ENVIRONMENT\nThis role is in officeat our corporate headquarters in the Brickell area of Miami, Florida.
