Highrise serves as the compute and operations layer-designing, deploying, and operating next-generation GPU clusters from commissioning through production. \nROLE OVERVIEW \nWe are looking for Network Engineers to expand and evolve our AI Infrastructure Service Operations team. In this role, you will help deliver the highest standard of performance and reliability in network infrastructure supporting HPC AI/ML workloads, serving as an escalation point for our frontline NOC. The successful candidate combines expertise in switch fabric, storage network and WAN technologies, with strong operational discipline, demonstrated automation capability, and excellent customer-facing skills. \nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES \nNetwork Performance and Reliability \nSupport frontline NOC during work hours, and as part of a shared off-hours on-call rotation. \nProvide a low-latency response to resolve network faults in production infrastructure. \nLead incident management and drive prevention actions for network-related service impacts. \nWork with our NOC and SRE teams to define and deliver continuous improvement to our network observability and impact mitigation tooling \nWork with our Development teams to drive efficiency through task automation \nDocumentation, Enablement, and Collaboration \nCreate and maintain clear documentation, standards, and runbooks for production network infrastructure. \nDrive automation efforts to reduce toil and extend observability in network infrastructure. \nWork directly with customers to understand how best to support their use cases, driving reliability and performance. \nBring the voice of the customer to product and platform teams to ensure we deliver the services and features they need. \nABOUT YOU \nEducation and Experience \nCollege diploma or university degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, and/or equivalent work experience. \n5+ years experience with managing network infrastructure at scale in 24x7 environments. \n2+ years experience in modern private cloud stack environments. \nSolid understanding of network technologies including VLANs, VXLAN, OSPF, BGP, NSX or similar SDN technologies, routing, switching, and load balancing. \nHands-on experience with scripting or programming languages for automation, and familiarity with basic database concepts. \nExperience with automation and infrastructure as code tools is a strong asset. \nCore Competencies \nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with high attention to detail. \nEffective at prioritizing and executing tasks in a high-pressure environment. \nStrong customer service orientation and a demonstrated willingness to help internal and external stakeholders. \nHighly self-motivated and directed, with a bias toward ownership and outcomes. \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills. \nCollaborative team player who operates effectively with minimal supervision. \nContinuous improvement mindset; proactively automates and eliminates operational toil. \nABOUT THE WORK ENVIRONMENT \nThis is a full-time, engineering role supporting large-scale AI compute infrastructure across multiple sites. Travel to data centers for cluster commissioning, acceptance, and complex troubleshooting will be required. Flexibility to assist with critical incidents or maintenance activities outside regular business hours is expected. This role is hybrid or remote depending on location.
