Highrise serves as the compute and operations layer-designing, deploying, and operating next-generation GPU clusters from commissioning through production. \nROLE OVERVIEW \nWe are looking for Network Operations Engineers to provide 24x7 oversight and response to service impacts to our AI/ML infrastructure. The successful candidate combines proven experience in high-stakes 24x7 environments, demonstrated technical aptitude in learning new systems and procedures quickly, and excellent customer-facing skills. \nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES \nProactive Monitoring, Customer Case Triage, and Incident Management Support \nProvide low-latency, context-aware direct customer support to ensure Highrise customers get the most from our infrastructure. \nManage impacts to compute, storage, and network resource pools to meet SLA commitments. \nHelp drive customer-driven workflow by aiding in the triage of inbound cases. \nProvide timely updates on incidents, and escalation when necessary. \nDocumentation, Enablement, and Collaboration \nCreate and maintain clear documentation, standards, and runbooks for your focus area. \nAid SRE in fleet management including firmware and configuration upgrades and orchestration of planned maintenance. \nBring the voice of the customer to product and platform teams to ensure we deliver the services and features they need. \nABOUT YOU \nEducation and Experience \nCollege diploma or university degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, and/or equivalent work experience. \n2 years or more experience with directly supporting customers using network and/or compute infrastructure at scale in 24x7 environments. \nCore Competencies \nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with high attention to detail. \nEffective at prioritizing and executing tasks in a high-pressure environment. \nStrong customer service orientation and a demonstrated willingness to help internal and external stakeholders. \nHighly self-motivated and directed, with a bias toward ownership and outcomes. \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills. \nCollaborative team player who operates effectively with minimal supervision. \nContinuous improvement mindset; proactively automates and eliminates operational toil. \nABOUT THE WORK ENVIRONMENT \nThis is a full-time, engineering role supporting large-scale AI compute infrastructure across multiple sites. Travel to data centers for cluster commissioning, acceptance, and complex troubleshooting will be required. Flexibility to assist with critical incidents or maintenance activities outside regular business hours is expected. This role is hybrid or remote depending on location.
