{"id":242865,"url":"https://alion.io/job/hut-8-supply-chain-engineering-principal","title":"Supply Chain Engineering, Principal","company":{"id":47563,"name":"Hut 8","domain":"hut8.com","url":"https://alion.io/company/hut-8","size_band":"501-1000","is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":"Greenhouse","truth_index":{"grade":"A","score":88,"open_postings":29,"ghost_share":0,"stale_share":0.448,"repost_share":0.034,"time_to_fill_p50_days":40,"computed_at":"2026-10-20T05:45:00Z"}},"role":"Operations","role_family":"Operations","seniority":"lead","employment_type":null,"work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"structured","locations":["Miami, United States"],"countries":["US"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":null,"salary_estimate":{"min_usd":78000,"max_usd":181000,"period":"year","method":"role_seniority_country_remote_cell","sample_n":1211},"experience_years_min":3,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-07-28T14:12:23Z","employer_posted_date":"2026-09-29","last_verified_at":"2026-10-21T00:31:22Z","board_verified":true,"closed_at":null,"days_open":84,"trust":{"level":"ok","repost_count":0,"flags":[],"days_open":83},"description":"ABOUT THE ROLE\nThe Supply Chain Engineering, Principal supports Hut 8’s growing infrastructure portfolio by owning and executing key elements of the procure-to-pay (P2P) lifecycle, delivery assurance, and logistics coordination.\nThis role ensures that purchase orders are accurately issued, partners close with suppliers to ensure delivery, materials are delivered on time and in compliance with project requirements, and payment processes remain aligned with contractual milestones.\nThe Principal works cross-functionally with Engineering, Construction, Finance/AP, Legal, and Operations to improve order accuracy, payment flow, logistics visibility, and material availability while minimizing execution risk across capital projects.\nSome of the responsibilities you can expect include the following:\nProcure-to-Pay (P2P) Execution & Controls\nOwn and support the full procure-to-pay lifecycle from purchase request intake through invoice reconciliation and closeout\nServe as a central coordination point between Engineering, Construction, suppliers, Finance/AP, and Legal\nValidate scope, pricing, specifications, delivery terms, tax treatment, and approvals prior to PO issuance\nIssue and track purchase orders in ERP systems in alignment with internal controls and approval workflows\nMonitor payment milestones and ensure alignment between PO terms, delivery status, and invoice submissions\nMaintain clean and auditable purchasing records\nLogistics & Delivery Coordination\nProactively expedite suppliers to confirm production schedules, manufacturing progress, and committed ship dates\nTrack long-lead and critical-path equipment to ensure alignment with project schedules\nIdentify early risk indicators including capacity constraints, sub-supplier delays, inspection issues, or logistics bottlenecks\nEscalate schedule deviations and coordinate corrective actions\nMaintain detailed delivery trackers with real-time visibility into production, shipment, and site receipt status\nProcess Improvement & Controls\nDevelop and maintain standardized P2P workflows and expediting procedures\nCreate and improve templates, trackers, dashboards, and logistics reporting tools\nIdentify process bottlenecks in purchasing, delivery, or payment flow\nRecommend improvements to reduce risk, increase visibility, and improve cash flow timing\nABOUT YOU\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)\n3 years of experience in supply chain operations, procure-to-pay, logistics coordination, or project-based supply chain environments\nDemonstrated experience managing purchase orders, expediting suppliers, and coordinating deliveries\nStrong organizational skills and high attention to detail\nAbility to manage multiple high-value orders simultaneously\nComfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving infrastructure or industrial environment\nPreferred: Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Odoo)\nABOUT THE WORK ENVIRONMENT\nThis role is in office at our corporate headquarters in the Brickell area of Miami, Florida.
