Contractor\nJob Summary\nWe’re looking for a skilled CMS Developer with strong Shopify experience to join a growing team and build, maintain, and optimize high-performing eCommerce websites.\nThis is an ideal opportunity for a developer who is confident working within the Shopify ecosystem and can turn designs and business requirements into responsive, polished, and conversion-focused online experiences.\nYou’ll work across Shopify theme development, CMS management, integrations, performance optimization, and ongoing website improvements while collaborating with designers, marketers, and other stakeholders.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop, customize, and maintain Shopify websites and storefronts\nBuild and modify custom Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript\nTranslate Figma or other design files into responsive, pixel-accurate web pages\nCreate and customize Shopify sections, templates, blocks, and reusable components\nConfigure products, collections, navigation, metafields, and other Shopify CMS content\nInstall, configure, and troubleshoot Shopify apps and third-party integrations\nImprove website speed, mobile responsiveness, accessibility, and overall performance\nIdentify and resolve front-end, theme, and CMS-related bugs\nImplement landing pages and website updates for marketing and eCommerce campaigns\nEnsure websites follow SEO and technical best practices\nTest changes across browsers, devices, and screen sizes before deployment\nCollaborate with designers, marketers, and internal stakeholders to deliver website improvements\nMaintain clean, scalable, and well-documented code\nRequirements\nProven professional experience as a Shopify Developer, CMS Developer, Front-End Developer, or eCommerce Developer\nStrong hands-on experience with Shopify and Shopify theme development\nProficiency in Shopify Liquid\nStrong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript\nExperience building responsive and mobile-first websites\nAbility to customize existing Shopify themes beyond basic page-builder functionality\nExperience working with Shopify apps, APIs, and third-party integrations\nUnderstanding of website performance optimization and technical SEO\nExperience translating designs from Figma into functional web pages\nStrong attention to detail and ability to produce polished, accurate implementations\nExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills\nStrong written and verbal English communication skills\nAbility to work independently in a fully remote environment and manage multiple priorities\nNice to Have\nExperience with Shopify Plus\nKnowledge of Shopify Functions, Storefront API, or custom app integrations\nExperience with Git and version control\nFamiliarity with CRO and eCommerce conversion best
