This role requires strong hands-on experience with WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, theme development, plugin development, website performance, SEO, and security.\nThe ideal candidate is comfortable working across both front-end and back-end development and can independently troubleshoot technical issues while delivering fast, responsive, secure, and user-friendly websites.\nKey Responsibilities\nBuild and customize WordPress themes, website layouts, templates, and styles using HTML, CSS, PHP, and WordPress best practices.\nDevelop custom WordPress plugins, extensions, and functionality when existing solutions do not meet project requirements.\nManage both user-facing website functionality and back-end components, including server-side logic and database interactions.\nImprove page loading speeds, Core Web Vitals, website performance, and overall user experience across desktop and mobile devices.\nImplement technical and on-page SEO best practices to improve website structure, crawlability, performance, and search engine visibility.\nEnsure websites are fully responsive and provide a consistent experience across mobile, tablet, and desktop devices.\nConduct security checks and audits, manage WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates, and follow security best practices.\nDiagnose and resolve website errors, plugin conflicts, broken functionality, performance issues, and other technical bugs.\nPerform regular website and database backups and support restoration or recovery when required.\nTest websites and new functionality before deployment to ensure reliability, compatibility, and performance.\nRequirements\n3+ years of professional WordPress development experience.\nStrong proficiency in WordPress, PHP, HTML5, and CSS3.\nProven experience developing and customizing WordPress themes.\nExperience building or modifying custom WordPress plugins.\nStrong understanding of both front-end and back-end web development.\nExperience working with WordPress databases and server-side functionality.\nKnowledge of responsive and mobile-first development.\nPractical experience with website speed and performance optimization.\nUnderstanding of technical SEO and SEO-friendly web development.\nKnowledge of WordPress security best practices, updates, backups, and ongoing maintenance.\nStrong debugging and troubleshooting skills.\nAbility to work
