Job Purpose\nTo manage the\npurchasing of textiles and related products, identify reliable suppliers,\nnegotiate competitive prices and ensure products are delivered on time and meet\nthe company's quality standards.\n\n2. Key Responsibilities:\n\nSource textiles, fabrics, raw\nmaterials and related products exclusively from international suppliers.\nIdentify new international\nsuppliers and maintain good relationships with existing ones.\nNegotiate prices, payment terms\nand delivery schedules.\nCompare quotations and ensure\nthe best value for money.\nMonitor purchase orders and\nfollow up on deliveries.\nEnsure that purchased products\nmeet the required quality standards and technical specifications.\nWork closely with the sales,\nwarehouse and logistics teams to maintain adequate stock levels.\nMonitor market trends, new\nproducts and pricing developments.\nManage procurement budgets and\nidentify opportunities to reduce costs.\nHandle supplier issues,\ndelivery delays and product quality concerns.\nPrepare regular purchasing and\nsupplier performance reports.\nPrepare preliminary costings\n(pre-costings) for textile products, taking into account raw material costs,\ninternational freight and other related expenses.\nMonitor design selections and\ncoordinate with relevant teams to ensure that selected fabrics, materials and\ndesigns meet quality, technical and cost requirements.\n\n3.
