Along with our core business we have a Service, Installation, Warranty divisions and a Parts Distribution division. We are seeking a highly motivated, skilled, and dependable Rental Sales Representative to focus on the markets throughout Arizona. The Rental Sales Representative is responsible for selling portable cooling equipment rental and services primarily to commercial customers by developing current and potential customer relationships in order to obtain or surpass the yearly revenue budgets in line with company procedures and targets. Responsibilities include developing a sales plan, account management, cold calling, delivery of units, closing deals, working with operations teams to ensure customer needs and AP/AR collections are met. \nResponsibilities\nEstablish a customer base in which to promote and solicit new, diverse, on-going business by calling on regular and prospective commercial customer base via phone or traveling throughout Texas to solicit orders and close sales; may also require compilation of lists of prospective customers from various sources to use as sales leads. Sectors are Mechanical Contractors, Property Management Companies and Government Municipalities. \nDevelop and achieve applicable Annual Sales Plan which sets revenue, profitability and market growth targets.\nQuote prices, contract terms, estimated delivery date, and credit terms to customers by using established process.\nDisplay or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes marketable features.\nPrepare reports of business transactions and expense accounts within specified timeframe.\nCommunicate with Sales Manager and Rental Coordinator to prepare sales contracts, other documentation and/or collection for orders and projects.\nCoordinate customer and project specs with internal operational personnel to insure that the objective of the project is accomplished in accordance with the customers schedule and needs.\nMaintain accurate reports and database records of customer contacts/activities and transactions.\nPrepare accurate and current progress reports to management on the status of all pending opportunities and critical customer-related activities.\nProvide technical sales assistance.\nPromote safety culture.\nThe Required Profile\nMinimum 3 years of demonstrated successful previous direct business to business sales experience, preferable in high dollar value sales\nProficiency with customer relations systems to track all sales contacts, meetings, opportunities, proposals and orders\nKnowledge of HVAC equipment preferred\nKnowledge of the construction and mechanical contracting industry in the area preferred\nMust have a Valid Driver’s License\nLift/exert force of 60/75lbs or greater at times\nComfortable and competent ability to drive large truck and pull trailers as needed\nMust have PC skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.\nOther Skills/Abilities\nLanguage Skills\nAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.\nMathematical Skills \nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.\nReasoning Ability\nAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Mental stamina for problem solving and prioritizing multiple tasks.\nEnvironmental Requirements\nWill be required to work in an office environment and possibly, occasionally in the field.\nPhysical Demands\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard and telephone, reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
