Interested in joining us?\nThe Opportunity\nWe are seeking a dependable and organized Shop Foreman to support the HVAC RNTL warehouse operations. This role is critical in ensuring our equipment is ready for rapid deployment in emergency situations. The Shop Foreman will manage shop inventory, coordinate equipment staging and repairs, and direct shop technicians to maintain operational efficiency. \nResponsibilities\nMaintain accurate inventory of HVAC equipment and ancillary materials.\nEnsure all items are properly labeled, stored, and tracked.\nUnder the direction of the National Service Leader, stage equipment in the shop and yard for testing and repair.\nParticipate in equipment testing and minor repairs as needed.\nDirect shop technicians to complete tasks efficiently and on schedule.\nMonitor work quality and provide guidance to ensure safety and performance standards are met.\nPull and prepare ancillary materials for outgoing jobs.\nInspect and inventory equipment upon return from job sites, noting any damage or maintenance needs.\nOperate forklifts and Yard Dog vehicles to move equipment safely within the shop and yard.\nAssist with equipment installations and breakdowns at job sites as needed.\nRepresent the company professionally while on-site.\nUse company shop trucks for job-related travel; no take-home vehicle is provided.\nThe Required Profile\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\n3+ years of experience in HVAC, mechanical, or rental equipment operations.\nPrior leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.\nProficient with forklifts and warehouse operation.\nStrong organizational and communication skills.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, emergency-response environment.\nMust have valid driver’s license with good driving record.\nAbility to prioritize and multitask.\nExcellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations.\nAbility to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time.\nOperating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with handheld computer (i.e. Smartphone, iPad)\nAbility to work in diverse conditions including but not limited to mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, exposure to extreme weather conditions, risk of electrical shock (high voltage), climbing/working at elevated heights, etc.\nMust be able to climb, crawl, stoop, kneel and must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.\nAbility to work after business hours, weekends and holidays when needed.\n Other Skills & Abilities\nLanguage Skills\nAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Mental stamina for problem solving and prioritizing multiple tasks.\nEnvironmental Requirements\nWill be required to work in a field environment, multiple customer sites on a daily basis.\nPhysical Demands\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is continually required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
