Our people set us apart-and with locations across the U.S., there’s room to grow, take on big challenges, and make an immediate impact.\nTurnkey Supervisor \nReports to: National Service Leader\nFLSA Status: Non-Exempt \nThe Opportunity\nWe are seeking a person with experience in managing the installations of temporary HVAC systems. This person will be involved from the initial job walk with sales through the installation and completion of the project. Must be able to lead a team in a high-pressure environment. Good communication skills with co-workers, contractors and end user customers are a requirement.\nResponsibilities\nOversee the end-to-end execution of temporary HVAC mechanical projects.\nManage our field crews and subcontractors, delegating tasks, and monitoring the day-to-day performance of workers.\nEnsuring a seamless ready to operate handover of the temporary HVAC system to the customer.\nEnforcing OSHA regulations, conducting daily safety briefings and managing on site risks.\nThe Required Profile\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nMust have valid driver’s license with good driving record\nMust have current HVAC certification and OSHA 10 Training\nPrevious experience of 7-10 years in chiller/HVAC maintenance, mechanical engineering, or other related fields.\nElectrical knowledge required and EPA Certification Preferred (i.e. HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer, etc.)\nStrong problem solving and critical thinking skills.\nAbility to prioritize and multitask.\nGood analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to train junior technicians.\nExcellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time.\nOperating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with handheld computer (i.e. Smartphone, iPad)\nAbility to work in diverse conditions including but not limited to mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, exposure to extreme weather conditions, risk of electrical shock (high voltage), climbing/working at elevated heights, etc.\nMust be able to climb, crawl, stoop, kneel and must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds\nOther Skills & Abilities\nLanguage Skills\nAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.\nMathematical Skills\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.\nReasoning Ability\nAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Mental stamina for problem solving and prioritizing multiple tasks.\nEnvironmental Requirements\nWill be required to work in a field environment, multiple customer sites on a daily basis.\nPhysical Demands\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is continually required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
