accuracy of estimates. \n Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and vendors. \n Develop and maintain a database of unit costs, productivity rates, and supplier pricing. \n Participate in bid reviews and risk analysis discussions. \n Coordinate with project managers to transition awarded projects into production smoothly. \n Assist in value engineering and cost-saving strategies. \n Maintain accurate records and documentation for all estimates.\n Communicate with vendors and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing, lead times, and product availability.\n Requirements:\n Proven experience as a Construction Estimator (3+ years preferred). \n Experience with estimating in [e.g., residential, commercial, civil, industrial] construction. \n Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., ProEst, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, Sage Estimating). \n Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations. \n Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents. \n Excellent mathematical and analytical skills. \n Strong written and verbal communication skills. \n Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment. \n Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). \n Preferred Qualifications:\n Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field. \n Experience with remote collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Trello). \n Knowledge of local building codes and permit processes. \n LEED certification or knowledge of sustainable building practices is a
