Founded in 2004, HX5 is a fast-growing veteran- and woman-owned company with locations nationwide.\nHX5, LLC at the NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio is seeking an Aircraft Propulsion Systems Research Engineer with experience in multi-disciplinary design, analysis, and optimization (MDAO) for aircraft propulsion systems.\nJob responsibilities include:\nProficiency in programming languages such as python, C++, and MATLAB. \nExperience with AI/ML tools and development. \nExperience in software development.\nRequired Skills:\nExperience in analyzing and assessing advanced propulsion concepts. \nExperience in developing and maintaining propulsion systems analysis software tools.\nGood understanding of the fundamentals of aircraft propulsion systems and/or rocket propulsion.\nExperience in modeling, simulations, and optimization, particularly in the area of propulsion systems.\nExperience in using OpenMDAO or NPSS for engineering applications. \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills. \nProven ability to integrate effectively into multi-disciplinary research teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.\nHigh motivation, creativity, and problem-solving ability.\nOther Desired Skills:\nProficiency in programming languages such as python, C++, and MATLAB.\nExperience with AI/ML tools and development.\nExperience in software development.\nEducation:\nCompleted at least a Bachelor of Science degree, from an accredited program, with the following education and experience:\nBachelor of Science degree and 0 -
