Founded in 2004, HX5 is a fast-growing veteran- and woman-owned company with locations nationwide.\nSummary\nThe Billing Specialist develops, interprets, and implements complex financial and accounting concepts, or techniques for financial planning and control.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nThe duties in this position may include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\nCompletes monthly billing to the government or prime contractor on various contract types: Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursable, Time & Materials\nCompletes monthly project financial reporting requirements to include, but not limited to, Contract Deliverables (CDRLs), Funds and Man-Hours Expenditure Reports (FMERS), and Estimates-At-Completion (EAC/ETC)\nAnalyzes financial information & labor hour utilization to determine present and future financial performance.\nUpdates specialized reports for Program Management Offices for use in analyzing current cost/utilization and forecasts for future requirements.\nResponsible for reviewing all contract modifications to verify contract value and funding portion is correct, and will also track contract modifications and update Costpoint contract value and funding as needed.\nReviews costs for contract allowability.\nResponsible for adding/updating Costpoint Projects as needed for contracts supported to include updating and monitoring Project Workforce.\nPrepares monthly labor accruals as needed.\nReviews & processes subcontractor invoices as needed.\nReviews travel expense reports to ensure costs meet contractual requirements and that proper charge codes have been applied.\nEducation and Experience\nMinimum of three (3) years of experience in a related field. \nBS Degree in accounting from an accredited university a plus. \nGovernment contracting experience preferred.\nAbility to demonstrate discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality a must. \nAbility to maintain high level of attention to detail required.\nComputer Skills\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Deltek software; Database software; Excel Spreadsheet and Microsoft Office Word Processing software.\nPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work\nThis is a full-time position.
