They will create data dashboards, reports, and visualizations for the management team.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nThe duties in this position include the following. Other duties may be assigned.\nBuild business and real time systems using JavaScript, CSS, PL/SQL, and other languages in an iterative development environment.\nAnalyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you’re developing considers the current architecture and operating environment as well as future functionality and enhancements.\nCapture both configuration and customization requirements and document them so our Product Management and Product Development teams can take appropriate actions.\nManage client expectations, educate them regarding the system, and guide them into a solution that substantially meets their needs, while hewing to products’ standard functionality.\nDefine and document customer business functions and processes, consult with all levels of the client to discern and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access.\nAct as liaison amongst end-users, project managers, sponsors, developers, and product managers in the analysis, design, configuration, testing, acceptance, adoptions, and maintenance of our software.\nAnalyze the feasibility of and develops requirements for enhancements to the system; ensure that designs fit the needs of the users.\nTrack and fully document changes to functional and business specifications; write detailed universally understood procedures for permanent records and for use in training.\nIdentify opportunities for improving business processes through use of our software and services.\nAssist in the preparation of proposals for new and existing clients.\nRead and interpret requirements and functional technical literature; translate into terms understandable to the end-users.\nWork with clients to plan, organize and conduct business process reengineering and change management projects.\nResearch and prepare statistical reports using system data to help clients understand system benefits.\nParticipate in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality.\nProvides technical assistance in training, mentoring, and coaching of professional and technical staff. Help develop or revise training curriculum. Conduct formal training sessions.\nProvide support to help desk, guiding clients to resolve issues as they emerge.\nProvide direction to technical staff, act as a team lead.\nInnately curious and possesses a strong ability to think creatively and develop new solutions.\nGather complex data inputs from multiple sources, both internally and externally. Run data queries from reporting tools (Oracle APEX and Cognos), ensuring integrity of data and reporting.\nProactively find ways to streamline and automate reporting and daily activities.\nPerform special projects and ad-hoc analysis.\nReview, analyze, and evaluate business systems to ensure availability of supporting data.\nCultivate and maintain strong partnerships with business stakeholders. Work effectively with cross-functional business partners including, but not limited to Accounting, Human Resources, Proposals, IT, and Marketing.\nEnsure that selected security controls are implemented and operating as intended during all phases of the IS lifecycle.\nEnsure that system security documentation is developed, maintained, reviewed, and updated on a continuous basis.\nConduct required IS vulnerability scans according to risk assessment parameters.\nDevelop Plan of Action and Milestones (POAMs) in response to reported security vulnerabilities.\nResponsible for the review of O365 and Azure Secure Scores; remediate vulnerabilities as necessary.\nResponsible for security-related helpdesk tickets\nEnsure all security issues are properly logged.\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.\nCompetencies\nTo perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:\nCommunications - Expresses ideas and thoughts verbally; expresses ideas and thoughts in written form; exhibits good listening and comprehension; keeps others adequately informed; selects and uses appropriate communication methods.\nDependability - Follows instructions, responds to management direction; takes responsibility for own actions; keeps commitments; commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals; completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan.\nProblem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions; works well in group problem solving situations.\nQualifications\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
