Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM) atHill Air Force Base.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nConduct system engineering reviews and analyses throughout the system lifecycle, including concept development, demonstration and validation, engineering and manufacturing development, production, deployment, and operations & support.\nDevelop and/or refine system features, enhancing, extending, or validating existing processes, data, methods, or techniques.\nAssist in translating DoD user requirements into system requirements to guide the design, development, fabrication, testing, and evaluation of systems, subsystems, and equipment.\nReview overall system design baselines to assess architecture and interoperability requirements.\nSupport the development of system specifications and architecture products.\nPerform independent analysis of engineering change proposals, specifications, and vendor submissions, providing recommendations to the Government POC regarding their acceptability.\nConduct life cycle cost evaluations on proposed systems and components.\nAssist with test and evaluation (T&E) activities, including test planning, execution, and result assessments to ensure compliance with operational requirements.\nEvaluate and coordinate the availability and capability of major DoD and civilian test resources and facilities.\nSupport scheduling and securing of required test resources in alignment with program office objectives.\nMonitor, assess, and report on T&E efforts, ensuring adherence to project timelines and requirements.\nAssist in designing, planning, executing, analyzing, reporting, and documenting test and evaluation programs, including certifications and compliance procedures.\nContribute to the development of technical plans by reviewing technical documents, participating in working groups, tracking risk and issue resolution, and supporting special studies to evaluate alternative approaches.\nProvide support for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) efforts as required.\nEducation and Experience:\nMust have one of the following combinations of education and experience:\nBachelor's degree in a related field, and three (3) years of related experience, three (3) of which must be in the DoD\nOR 7 years of directly related experience, five (5) of which must be in the DoD\nExperience with design and development of Electrical circuit analysis, RF chain sub-specialties (antenna design, high-power transmitters/amplifiers, receiver processing, etc.), and electro-mechanical controls.\nExperience with modeling and simulation for electrical engineering projects\nHands-on experience conducting and assessing electrical system tests.\nExperience or application to DoD systems.\nUnderstanding of the DoD acquisition processes including technical data package development, sustainment, and principles of configuration management\nFamiliarity with:Electronic Warfare and/or Air Combat Operations, including live aircrew training and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) development.\nRange Infrastructure Architectures & Systems.\nForeign Ground Radar technology and applications.\n\nPreferred:\nDegree in a related engineering field from an ABET accredited institution.\n\nPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work:\nThis is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.\nOther Position Requirements:\nProof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for
