Founded in 2004, HX5 is a fast-growing veteran- and woman-owned company with locations nationwide.\nHX5 is currently seeking a Senior Acquisition Program Manager Electronic Warfare to join the team at Eglin, AFB in Niceville, Florida.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nKnowledge of operational aircrew mission planning and software process, including extensive knowledge of how aircrew use automated mission planning and software tools to accomplish their mission. Extensive experience with the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) is desired.\nKnowledge of CAF operational mission planning with USAF platforms\nPrepare and review technical documents defining, specifying, and recommending system and subsystem characteristics.\nPerform program reviews to evaluate alternative plans, systems engineering programs, and test results, ensuring subsystem and system performance meets program specifications.\nPrepare management reports and conduct technical presentations for planning, implementation, and corrective actions using sound engineering principles.\nDevelop validation criteria and procedures for systems and subsystems.\nAnalysis & Risk Management\nAnalyze and evaluate results of major engineering weapon systems and provide operations oversight.\nSupport program and project risk management activities in compliance with Air Force Systems Engineering Assessment Model (AF SEAM) processes.\nMission planning experience in developmental or operational testing environments is helpful. Or prior mission planning experience in Operational Support Squadrons.\nKnowledge of a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of mission planning systems used for conducting mission and flight operations, such as for fighter, bomber, guided weapons, tactical training, special operations, exercise, contingency, or similar operations.\nPosition is within an weapons Acquisition Program Office, so applicant will be applying military operational experience and scientific analysis in developing methodologies for evaluating the effectiveness and suitability of newly developed/updated mission planning system.\nOther Duties and Responsibilities may be assigned:\nAssist and advise with the DoD planning, programming, and budgeting process; USAF weapons acquisition process; cost estimating and analysis of missiles, air delivered munitions, electronic systems, delivery vehicles, targets, and range systems; to support Government program managers and financial managers.\nPrepare briefings. \nDevelop and manage program schedules and program plans.\nDevelop and manage program courses of action for streamlined operations and processes.\nSupport and execute risk management processes.\nPrepare and coordinate responses to requests for information from external organizations.\nPerform economic, budget, and financial analyses to include obligations and expenditure forecasting.\nDevelop funds management, funding status, automated models, and control techniques.\nPrepare decision support information.\nWork with industry on contract with the USAF.\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor's degree and twenty-five (25) years of professional experience\nOR master's degree and fifteen (15) years of professional experience \nOR PhD and five (5) years of experience\nUndergraduate engineering degree from an ABET-accredited college\nPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work:\nThis is a full-time on-site position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.\nOther Position Requirements:\nProof of U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for this position.\nMust be
