Niceville, Florida.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nProvide mechanical/aerospace/materials engineering support to the SDBII program.\nApply advanced engineering principles to ensure technical efforts align with program objectives, cost, schedule, and performance requirements.\nAssist with engineering analysis, troubleshooting, and technical recommendations supporting system and equipment performance.\nSupport planning and execution of complex engineering tasks involving:\nStatics, Dynamics, Tribology\nMechanical wear, Fatigue, Corrosion\nFluid dynamics, Thermodynamics\nAssist in the generation and interpretation of technical data packages, including 2D drawings and 3D models.\nSupport testing, evaluation, life prediction, and standardization of materials and material properties used in engineering design.\nProvide technical inputs to briefings, technical reviews, and program documentation in support of Government decision-making.\nCollaborate within Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to support mission execution and program success.\nEducation and Experience:\nUndergraduate engineering degree from ABET-accredited college. \nBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and ten (10) years of professional experience\nOr Master's of Science degree in Engineering and eight (8) years of professional experience\nOR Ph.D. and three (3) years of professional experience\nPosition Type/Expected Hours of Work:\nThis is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.\nOther Position Requirements:\nProof of U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for this position.\nMust be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a
