Founded in 2004, HX5 is a fast-growing veteran- and woman-owned company with locations nationwide.\nHX5 is currently seeking an Acquisition Program Engineer, Senior with a Systems Security focus to join our team at Eglin AFB, Florida.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nIdentify and assess Critical Program Information (CPI) and determine when AT protections are required.\nDevelop AT specifications and procedures that prevent or delay exploitation of critical technologies.\nSupport and maintain AT sections of the Program Protection Plan.\nCoordinate with external stakeholders (e.g., SAF/IA, AT Evaluation Team, Weapons AO, OSI/PJ, 48 CTS) to enable compliant testing and fielding.\nApply IA engineering to air-to-air and air-to-ground weapon systems in accordance with DoDI 5200.44 and DoDI 8500.01E.\nIdentify missions-critical functions and critical components and implement risk-management practices early in system design.\nDevelop IA specifications and support audits, assessments, and integration of secure components.\nImplement SCRM per DoDI 4140.01, including identifying and mitigating internal and external supply-chain risks.\nPrevent introduction of counterfeit materials and apply life-cycle controls to protect system integrity.\nSupport development of SCRM strategies for quality, supplier reliability, natural disasters, demand shifts, and global disruptions.\nSupport PIT and PIT-IA engineering for mission-critical embedded systems.\nApply AFLCMC’s PIT Security Control Assessor (SCA) processes.\nEnsure secure interconnections with NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and JWICS, including configuration and cross-domain considerations.\nSupport design and implementation of encryption solutions for weapon-system security.\nProvide RMF-aligned engineering support for assessment, authorization, and continuous-monitoring activities.\n\nEducation and Experience:\nMust have one of the following combinations of education and experience:\nTwenty (20) years of experience and BS in an engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited program;
