We promise “a helpful smile in every aisle” and those smiles can only come from a workforce that is fully engaged and committed to supporting our customers and each other.\nJob Description:\nJob Title: Distribution Inventory Coordinator\nDepartment: Distribution\nFLSA: Non-Exempt\nGeneral Function:\nAssists with counting, inventory, product management and packet configuration.\nCore Competencies:\nPartnerships\nGrowth mindset\nResults oriented\nCustomer focused\nProfessionalism\nReporting Relations:\nAccountable and Reports to: Inventory Control Manager; Inventory Control Assistant Manager; Inventory Control Department Manager; Warehouse Manager\nPositions that Report to you: None\nPrimary Duties and Responsibilities:\nProcesses inventory documentation on WMS system. 30%\nAssists in slotting new merchandise, measuring cases, maintaining pallet configuration, proper description, UPC and size of merchandise. 20%\nAssists with cycle counting. 20%\nAssists with other duties such as: problem pallets, hold area, new locations, code dating, etc. 20%\nCoordinates with purchasing department and other distribution departments. 10%\nReports to work when scheduled and on time.\nSecondary Duties and Responsibilities: (These are considered occasional in nature)\nDistributes reports as outlined by supervisors.\nPerforms other job related duties and special projects as required.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nNone\nKnowledge, Skills, Abilities and Worker Characteristics:\nMust have ability to solve practical problems; variety of variables with limited standardization; interpret instructions.\nMust have ability to interpret verbal or written work instructions; write identifying information; file, post, and mail materials; copy data from one record to another; and evaluate technical data.\nMust have ability to perform arithmetic calculations involving fractions, decimals, and percentages.\nEducation and Experience:\nHigh school or equivalent experience.\nOne to three years of similar or related work experience.\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be physically able to perform light work: exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally to move objects.\nVisual requirements include vision from 20 inches or less to 20 feet or more with or without correction, depth perception, color vision, and field of vision.\nMust be able to perform the following physical activities: Reaching, stooping, kneeling, standing, walking, fingering, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions\nWorking Conditions:\nThe duties of this position are performed in a combination of office and warehouse settings. There is exposure to dirt, noise, temperature extremes, and equipment movement hazards. There is frequent pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a day.\nEquipment Used to Perform Job:\nOffice equipment including telephone, 10-key calculator, copier, and fax.
