If using headset must also identify back the verification digit to confirm correct slot selection. Products will weight from 5 to 70 lbs each.\nProper stacking of merchandise on pallet to prevent damaged merchandise.\nProduction quantities within expectable warehouse standards (95%).\nDirect loading of pallets onto trailers.\nProper operation of equipment so as not to damage equipment or property or to create a safety hazard to employee or others working around employee.\nReports to work when scheduled and on time.\nSecondary Duties and Responsibilities:\nCleaning of warehouse when needed.\nRecouping of salvageable merchandise.\nOther duties might include quality control checking, checking out-of-stock merchandise, inspections.\nKnowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Worker Characteristics:\nMust have the ability carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions; deal with a few concrete variables.\nMust have the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies orally or in writing.\nEducation and Experience:\nHigh school or equivalent work experience.\nNo experience necessary.\nSupervisory Responsibilities (Direct Reports):\nNone\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust have the ability to perform repetitive lifting and heavy work: exerting 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, and 25-50 pounds of force frequently and/or 10-20 pounds of force constantly to lift and place objects. Will repetitively lift boxes of a variety of shapes and weights.\nMust take and pass warehouse fitness test, drug screen and hearing test.\nVisual requirements include clarity of vision at distance of less than 20 inches and up to 20 feet with or without correction, depth perception, color vision, and field of vision.\nMust be able to hear in both ears well enough to maintain safety-hearing co-worker horn or shout of warning; must be able to maintain hearing well enough to wear headset covering one ear and still maintain hearing for safety in the other ear.
