We promise “a helpful smile in every aisle” and those smiles can only come from a workforce that is fully engaged and committed to supporting our customers and each other.\nJob Description:\nJob Title: Sanitation Coordinator\nFLSA: Non-Exempt\nGeneral Function:\nResponsible for sanitation and general maintenance of the facility.\nCore Competencies\nPartnerships\nGrowth mindset\nResults oriented\nCustomer focused\nProfessionalism\nReporting Relations:\nAccountable and Reports to: AVP of Warehouse Operations, Director of Compliance/Safety & Security and Warehouse Supervisor.\nPositions that Report to you: None\nPrimary Duties and Responsibilities:\nReports to work when scheduled and on time.\nAdheres to company policies and departmental guidelines.\nGeneral maintenance duties including but not limited to minor plumbing, mechanical and electrical.\nCoordinating of disposal of trash, recycling and damaged product to reduce our carbon footprint.\nResponsible for cleanliness and appearance of Lomar Distributing facilities, inside and out. Duties including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, power washing, scrubbing, dusting, and sanitizing.\nGeneral janitorial duties within offices, restrooms and breakrooms.\nComplies with all Lomar security procedures when monitoring non-Lomar employed truck drivers and/or visitors.\nOrders sanitation and maintenance supplies as needed. \nAdheres to all food Safety and general safety guidelines and performs work in a safe manner.\nSecondary Responsibilities:\nAttends departmental and company meetings.\nAssists with setup/teardown of large group meetings.\nPerforms duties of a Warehouse Generalist when needed.\nOther duties as assigned by management.\nKnowledge, Skills, Abilities and Worker Characteristics:\nPromotes a safe work environment by use of all proper personal protective equipment. \nMust have the ability to solve practical problems with a variety of variables with limited standardization; interpret instructions.\nAbility to identify problems, develop and execute solutions.\nMust be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers.\nHave the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing.\nEducation and Experience:\nNo education or experience requirements\nPhysical Requirements:\nVisual requirements include vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction, depth perception, color vision, and field of vision.\nMust be physically able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally; exert up to 20 pounds of force frequently; and exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.\nMust be able to perform the following physical activities: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.\nWorking Conditions:\nMost of the duties of this position are performed in a warehouse environment, but the employee will be exposed to an outdoor setting. There will be exposure to noise, dust, dirt, temperature extremes, dampness, and chemicals/solvents and equipment including batteries.\nEquipment Used to Perform Job:\nScrubber, mop, hand tools, power tools, vacuum, and industrial power truck and equipment.\nContacts:\nHas daily contact with warehouse personal and contractors.
