This role will be responsible for executing established HR processes, maintaining accurate employee records and HRIS (ADP) data, supporting payroll and benefits administration, and identifying opportunities to improve HR workflows and operational efficiency.\nAs an HR Coordinator at HPR, you will:\nCoordinate new hire onboarding, including background and reference checks, employment eligibility verification, required paperwork, and HRIS updates.\nEnsure new hires receive required information, documentation, and training.\nCoordinate employee offboarding, including required documentation, HRIS and benefits enrollment updates, and accurate recordkeeping.\nAssist with biweekly payroll processing, including employee data changes, documentation, reporting, and reconciliation to ensure accurate and timely completion.\nCoordinate day-to-day employee benefits and leave administration, including enrollments, coverage terminations, qualifying life events, employee inquiries, and communication with benefits providers.\nMaintain accurate, confidential employee records and HRIS data; prepare routine HR, payroll, and benefits reports and help resolve discrepancies.\nRespond to routine employee and manager inquiries about HR policies, payroll, benefits, onboarding, and HR systems, escalating complex or sensitive issues to the HR Director.\nTrack required training and certifications, employee surveys, and recurring HR administrative and compliance deadlines.\nAssist with routine audits of personnel files, I-9 documentation, and HR systems to support data integrity and compliance with applicable employment requirements.\nAssist with the preparation of HR executive reports.\nIdentify opportunities to improve HR workflows, documentation, and systems, and assist with implementing approved improvements.\nRequired Qualifications:\n2+ years of hands-on experience in human resources operations, including employee onboarding, offboarding, HRIS data management, and established HR processes.\nAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.\nExperience supporting payroll processing and employee benefits administration, including HRIS data management, payroll-related changes, reconciliations, audits, and reporting.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint, with strong Excel skills in data management, reporting, and creating charts and graphs.\nStrong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to manage recurring deadlines accurately.\nStrong communication skills, a service-oriented approach, discretion with confidential information, and sound judgment when escalating sensitive matters to the HR Director.\nHands-on experience with ADP (strongly preferred) or a comparable HRIS platform, including employee data management, reporting, and payroll-related transactions.\nAbility to work on-site at HPR's Needham, MA office Monday through Friday.\nCompensation: In compliance with Massachusetts law, the anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $85,000. The final offer may vary based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications.
