You will design, develop, and debug C applications running on multi-core Linux systems, to process large amounts of high-throughput, low-latency network data.\nEducation Requirements\nPursuing a BS/MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field and have attained Sophomore standing or higher\nSuccessful completion of a course(s) related to Data Structures & Algorithms, Operating Systems, Machine Structure & Assembly-Language, Performance Engineering, and/or Networks & Protocols\nMust have and maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA, if on a 4.0 scale\nRequired Qualifications\nRelevant programming experience in an internship or academic environment, demonstrating strong engineering skills\nDemonstrated ability to read and write C code\nFamiliarity with Linux Bash/Shell environment\nRelevant programming experience developing Python or Java applications\nStrong technical skills, with an interest in expanding knowledge of coding languages\nCapable of working collaboratively in a fast-paced technical environment\nPreferred Qualifications\nDesire to work with low-level technologies \nFamiliarity with network socket programming and TCP\nCompensation: In compliance with Massachusetts law, the anticipated hourly rate this position is $42.00/hour. Please note that this range represents the expected base wage for this role at the time of posting. The final offer may vary based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications.
