below:\n\nJob Title: Team Lead, Security\n\nReq ID: LAG000080\n\nLocation: Ikeja, Lagos\n\nEmployment type: Full-time\n\nAbout the role\n\n The Team Lead Security is responsible for supervising daily security operations and ensuring the safety and security of guests, colleagues, visitors, and company assets.\n\n The role requires strong knowledge of security management, occupational health and safety standards, fire and life safety systems, emergency response procedures, and risk assessment.\n\n The Team Lead will lead the security team, enforce policies and procedures, and promote a culture of safety throughout the property.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nSecurity Operations:\n\n Supervise and coordinate daily activities of Security Officers.\n\n Ensure effective protection of guests, colleagues, visitors, and company assets.\n\n Conduct regular patrols and inspections of all areas of the property.\n\n Monitor CCTV systems, access control systems, and security equipment.\n\n Investigate security incidents, accidents, and breaches and prepare detailed reports.\n\n Manage lost and found procedures in accordance with company policy.\n\nSafety Management:\n\n Promote compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.\n\n Conduct workplace safety inspections and identify potential hazards.\n\n Lead fire safety initiatives, including routine checks of firefighting equipment.\n\n Ensure emergency exits, evacuation routes, and safety signage remain compliant.\n\n Participate in risk assessments and recommend corrective actions.\n\n Coordinate safety awareness and emergency preparedness programs for colleagues.\n\nEmergency Response:\n\n Lead emergency response activities during fire alarms, medical emergencies, security incidents, or natural disasters.\n\n Ensure all team members are trained on emergency procedures.\n\n Coordinate evacuations and liaise with emergency services when required.\n\n Maintain emergency response and incident records.\n\nLeadership and Team Management:\n\n Lead, coach, and develop Security Officers.\n\n Prepare duty rosters and manage shift assignments.\n\n Conduct team briefings and performance evaluations.\n\n Ensure professional conduct and appearance of all security personnel.\n\n Foster teamwork and continuous improvement within the department.\n\nCompliance and Reporting:\n\n Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and hotel brand standards.\n\n Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and security activities.\n\n Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly security and safety reports.\n\n Support internal and external audits relating to security and safety.\n\nQualifications\n\n Bachelor's Degree, Higher National Diploma (HND), or equivalent qualification.\n\n Professional certification in Security Management or Occupational Health & Safety is an advantage.\n\n Minimum of 3-5 years of security experience, including supervisory responsibilities.\n\n Experience in hospitality, hotel, or service industry preferred.\n\n Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, and accident investigations. \n\nApplication
