You will work closely with the sales, development, and customer support teams to lead and support existing and new business growth.\nYou will make an impact in this role by:\nDrive application engineering discussions with our customer/channel partners in collaboration with HYDAC sales teams.\nProvide technical support to HYDAC solutions and products.\nCollaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical support during the pre-sales process.\nUnderstand application requirements and develop system/product requirements and help in the design and selection product solutions accordingly\nEvaluate application specifications to ensure compliance with internal technical and commercial requirements\nDevelop and deliver product application demonstrations, presentations, and technical proposals with HYDAC value proposition to customers.\nAssist customers with the selection, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of our products and solutions in the application. \nProvide ongoing technical support and training to customers, ensuring they maximize the value of our solutions.\nWork with the development and lab teams to identify and resolve product issues and support product performance testing.\nCollaborates with US and German HYDAC entities to develop HYDAC solutions. \nStay up-to-date with industry/application trends and advancements to provide informed recommendations to customers and internal teams.\nTraining of customers, channel partners and internal HYDAC team members on products and solutions. \nDocument customer interactions, technical issues, and solutions in our supporting databases.\nCoordinates with Operations to ensure quoted product is viable.\nRelationship building with customer engineers and engineering management teams\nActively participate in design reviews with other engineering, manufacturing, sales, and materials personnel to ensure that design meet all requirements.\nSupports System and Design FMEA's.\nSupports Solution and Product concept, design and launch reviews.\nAbility to communicate effectively with internal and external customers. \nRequirements\nKey skills and attributes include:\nSystems - Application subject matter expert for all HYDAC technologies, including sub system solutions.\nElectro Hydraulics - Application subject matter expert for Electrohydraulic solutions.\nControls - Application subject matter expert for Electronic Controls and Software\nSensors - Application subject matter expert for Sensors\nControls & Sensors - Application subject matter expert for Electronic Controls, Sensors and Software\nThermal Management - Application subject matter expert for Cooling solutions.\nFluid Conditioning - Application subject matter expert for filtration and other fluid care technologies.\nDivision Specific (Enablers) - Application subject matter expert for HYDAC enables such as Accumulators, Accessories and Cylinders.\nTo be considered for the Application Engineer - eMobility role, you must have the following minimum qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.\nProven experience (2-3 yrs) as an Application Engineer or in a similar technical support role preferred.\nStrong understanding of technologies associated with respective HYDAC specializations.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.\nWillingness to travel 20-40% of time to customer sites as needed.\nThe approved budget for this role is $95,000 to $105,000.
