The product portfolio will revolve around cartridge valves, manifolds, directional controls, and more.\nYou will make an impact in this role by:\nBeing responsible for the project management of new application designs and requirements as specified by customers. Interacts and coordinates designs with Design Engineering.\nCreation and maintenance of manufacturing processes relative to the assigned product line.\nProvides technical training to manufacturing and quality staff.\nWrites technical specifications for equipment.\nTechnically evaluates bids for from vendors. Analyzes and interprets customer technical requirements from customer inquiries and specifications.\nWill work as a support role for Product Managers.\nCoordinates with Operations to ensure quoted product is viable.\nProvides technical support to Marketing regarding sales inquiries, equipment application, and engineering analysis.\nRequirements\nTo be considered for the Application Engineering role, you must have the following minimum qualifications:\nMinimum 5 years’ industry experience.\nExperience with mobile hydraulics or pneumatics.\nAbility to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.\nAbility to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.\nAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.\nAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.\nAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.\nAbility to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of geometry and trigonometry.\nAbility to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.\nAbility to use database software, design software, Project Management software, spreadsheet software and word processing software.\nAnalytical: Collects and researches data.\nDesign: Demonstrates attention to detail.\nProblem Solving: Gathers and analyzes information skillfully.\nProject Management: Communicates changes and progress.\nExcellent verbal and written skills.\nOral Communication: Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.\nWritten Communication: Writes clearly and informatively.\nRequired Experience And Education:\nBachelor's degree (B.A.) in mechanical engineering from a four-year college or university\n1 to 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of both.\nSAP experience is a plus.\nSalary is commiserated with experience, and compensation for this position is between $95,000 - $115,000.
