Will make adjustments to the G-code programs as needed plus troubleshot CNC alarms, prepare tooling and fixturing for upcoming work. This position is for 3rd shift, Monday - Friday 11pm - 7am.\nYou will make an impact in this role by:\nOperator will set-up horizontal milling machines, modify program as necessary, install tool registers, offsets, and compensation.\nAll work to be performed based on customer specific requirements using documented wok instructions.\nUsing fixed and variable measurement equipment.\nPackaging and labeling product according to instructions.\nPerforming routine cleaning and maintenance on machines.\nConfirm production work orders via computer to SAP system.\nAssist operators at different skill levels to ensure compliance to all specifications.\nPerform 5S duties.\nProvide a first part to Q.C. within specified tolerances.\nReplace worn tooling in machines.\nPerform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.\nRequirements\nTo be considered for the CNC Operator - 3rd Shift role, you must have the following minimum qualifications:\nHave experience on 4-axis machines.\nHave experience with FANUC controls.\nMust be proficient in the following: Set-Up machine with little to no help; Do simple programming and edits; Tool offset and work shifts; Able to observe safety rules.\nProficient in understanding HYDAC Quality Policy and quality objectives as related to this position.\nProficient in reading and interpreting production, BOM's and quality plans.\nExperience machining aluminum and Ductile Iron.\nAble to use inspection instruments and inspect parts to drawing. Use SPC inspection programs.\nTroubleshoot problems, respond to alarm, retrace program to locate problem(s), and make necessary corrections.\nEducation and Experience:\nHigh School diploma or GED is required.\n1 to 3 years’ experience in manufacturing is a plus.\nSafety and Personal Protective Equipment:\nMust adhere to all safety rules in force for the location you are in while performing your job responsibilities. This includes at a customer or supplier location. Must meet requirements for PPE in specific manufacturing areas when you are in those areas including safety shoes and safety glasses.\nPosition Details:\n3rd Shift hours are 11 PM to 7 AM - Monday - Friday\nHourly rate for this position is $22.00/hr.
