HYDAC’s passionate team designs and manufactures a comprehensive line of innovative and reliable solutions optimized for any demand our customers require.\nThe Advanced Systems Group Manager will report to the Schaumburg, IL facility and strongly support the Sales organization plus work closely with each of the Product Divisions in developing advanced controls and fluid power systems including equipment/ vehicle automation and electrification. This position will manage a group of multi-disciplined engineers developing solutions for customers and be responsible for the technical and commercial viability of the group and the solutions they develop.\nYou will make an impact in this role by:\nDevelop our system solutions strategy including technology roadmap for equipment/ vehicle automation and electrification.\nOversee and manage group of multi-disciplined engineers, technicians and project managers.\nDevelop and implement process and documentation for managing the development of systems.\nResponsible for the commercial viability of the group and their solutions.\nServe as the Technology Liaison with Germany and will lead the technology transfer between the HYDAC Germany systems group and the HYDAC USA system group.\nResponsible for developing standard advanced systems and subsystem integrating our different product groups (i.e. - steer by wire solutions).\nWork with divisions regarding productionization of developed systems.\nProvide Voice of Customer (VoC) to our Product Divisions for new product development.\nRepresent HYDAC with customers and accompany Sales Managers to customer locations selling our technology and advanced systems.\nResponsible for developing marketing content around our systems solution.\nProvide feedback, training and processes to Application Engineers-Systems in the sales organization that are located in the region.\nAid the Application Engineer-Systems in the sales organization on advanced technology and system solutions.\nDevelop advanced solutions for selected customers including discovery, requirements documentation, system design, debugging, installation and valid testing.\nPresent TecDay modules to our customer base.\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequirements\nKey skills and attributes include:\nHighly Motivated.\nTechnically competent in fluid power and electronic controls.\nAbility to develop value proposition for HYDAC and it's products/solutions. \nAbility to develop and foster customer relationships.\nStrong interpersonal skills including the ability to develop cross-functional relationships.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills including writing business correspondence, reports and presentation skills.\nAbility develop and implement strategic direction.\nAbility to manage and lead a technical group of engineers, technicians and project managers.\nDemonstrated ability to grow sales in a designated territory.\nStrong business accruement.\nStrong project management skills.\nAbility to use the Internet, Project Management software, spreadsheets and word processing software.\nAbility to set goals and objectives for their team based on strategic direction.\nWillingness to travel.\nTo be considered for the Advanced Systems Group Manager role, you must have the following minimum qualifications:\nBachelor's Degree in Technology required.\nMaster's Degree preferred.\nMinimum of 5 years experience developing electrohydraulic solutions.\nMinimum of 3 years management experience.\nExperience putting together vehicle control architecture preferred.\nExperience working with customers on system projects required.\nSalary is commiserated with experience, and compensation for this position is between $150,000-170,000.
