We are looking for motivated, energetic people to join our dynamic Team!\nPosition Summary\nThe Mechanical Designer is responsible for developing accurate CAD models, drawings, and engineering documentation that support HYDAC products and system solutions. This role focuses on design execution, documentation quality, and adherence to engineering standards while supporting engineers, manufacturing, vendors, and quality teams throughout the product lifecycle.\nYou will make an impact and be successful in this role with the following skills and responsibilities:\nRequirements\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nDesign & Documentation\nCreate detailed 3D models, assemblies, and layouts in SolidWorks.\nProduce detailed parts and assembly drawings in compliance with HYDAC drafting standards.\nDefine materials, special drawing notes, tolerances, and revision information.\nCreate service kit drawings and top-level drawing packages.\nManage assembly constraints and interfaces within CAD models.\nMaintain engineering drawing files and libraries.\nEngineering Support\nSupport tolerance stack-ups, hardware selection, and basic engineering analysis.\nAssist with PPAP documentation and production readiness activities.\nSupport DFMEA and design review preparation as required.\nParticipate in peer reviews and act as a checker for assigned designs.\nChange Management & Configuration Control\nSupport ECN/ECR creation, documentation, and implementation.\nPull part numbers and apply correct naming conventions.\nPopulate and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs) on drawings and in SAP.\nTrack project parts using part tracking sheets.\nVendor & Manufacturing Collaboration\nExchange CAD data with vendors and verify model accuracy.\nLoad vendor CAD models into SAP per established procedures.\nSupport prototype builds and manufacturability reviews.\nWork with manufacturing and quality teams on work instructions and procedures.\nAdministrative & Process\nTrack engineering time using the engineering time tracking
