This role performs incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections throughout the manufacturing cycle, maintaining the accurate documentation and nonconformance reporting that underpins SkinHealth Systems' ISO 13485-certified Quality Management System.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\nPerform inspection and testing activities during First Article Inspections (FAI), Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), and Final Quality Control (FQC) inspections.\n\nGenerate detailed and accurate inspection data sheets in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and SkinHealth Systems' Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.\n\nProperly document inspections, prepare first article documentation, and compile certification packages.\n\nConduct product build documentation reviews and end-item data package reviews.\n\nGenerate nonconformance reports for discrepancies found during inspection processes.\n\nUtilize conventional inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure precise measurements.\n\nEnsure all inspection equipment is qualified and calibrated prior to use.\n\nInterpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.\n\nConduct visual inspections to identify defects or non-conformities in products.\n\nCollect and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement.\n\nMaintain accurate documentation of inspection results and quality records.\n\nReport quality-related issues to leads and managers in a timely manner.\n\nAdhere to all company safety procedures and perform job functions in a safe and effective manner.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR\nRequired\nHigh school diploma or GED.\n\nMinimum 2 years of experience in a quality inspection role within a manufacturing environment.\n\nProficiency in using conventional inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.\n\nStrong understanding of GDP, cGMP, and QMS requirements.\n\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.\n\nExperience generating nonconformance reports and inspection documentation.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nExcellent attention to detail and organizational skills.\n\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.\n\nExperience with pallet jacks and other materials handling equipment.\n\nAbility to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.\n\nPreferred\nAssociate's degree or higher in a related field.\n\nMedical device industry experience.\n\nFamiliarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB\nManufacturing environment requiring prolonged standing, walking, bending, twisting, and handling of inspection tools and materials throughout the shift.\n\nFrequent use of precision measuring instruments, calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.\n\nMust be able to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.\n\nExposure to manufacturing noise, machinery, equipment, and varied temperatures; appropriate PPE required.\n\nMust adhere to all safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment at all times.\n\nThis is a contract/contingent role. The pay rate for this engagement is $21.50 - $23.00 per hour. Compensation for this role is paid by an authorized third-party staffing agency, who will serve as the employer of record for this engagement. Hydrafacial's compensation and benefits programs - including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off - do not apply to this role.
