Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.\nRole purpose\nWe are looking for an AI Solution Architect who can design end-to-end AI and Generative AI solutions and guide them from business discovery to production readiness.\nThe role requires strong enterprise solution architecture, modern software engineering, and practical understanding of Generative AI, Machine Learning, agentic AI patterns, and AI-enabled business applications. The AI Solution Architect will work with business stakeholders, product owners, domain experts, engineers, data specialists, cloud, security, and operations teams to translate business needs into scalable, secure, maintainable, and measurable AI solutions.\nThe ideal candidate understands both high-level architecture and practical implementation aspects, including APIs, integrations, UI flows, data pipelines, RAG, vector search, tool/function calling, agentic workflows, evaluation, observability, and production operations.\nThe role also requires awareness of emerging AI trends, including agentic AI, agent harnesses, multi-agent patterns, LLM evaluation, AI-assisted software development, and coding agents such as Codex and Claude Code.Computer Vision experience is a strong plus.\nKey responsibilities\nDiscovery & Shaping: Lead stakeholder workshops, translate business needs into MVP scopes, and map out scalable implementation roadmaps.\n End-to-End Architecture: Design and document (C4 diagrams, API contracts) robust cloud architectures covering application, data, and LLM layers.\nAdvanced AI Design: Build cutting-edge GenAI and Agentic systems using RAG, embeddings, multi-agent orchestration, and context/memory management.\n Technical Leadership: Guide cross-functional delivery teams (DevOps, MLOps, Data), unblock technical issues, and champion clean code and Git-based workflows.\n Security & LLMOps: Implement security-by-design, safety evaluation harnesses (hallucination checks, prompt injection defense), and automated testing.\nWhat will make you successful?\nExperience: 7+ years in IT/Software Engineering, including 5+ years in Solution Architecture or technical leadership, with a track record of delivering enterprise-grade AI, cloud, or automation solutions.\n Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).\n AI & Data Tech Stack:Deep practical knowledge of GenAI & Agentic Architecture (RAG, vector databases, multi-agent orchestration, tool calling, LLM evaluation, and safety guardrails).\nCore data engineering proficiency (data modeling, pipelines, relational/NoSQL).\nPython programming skills; familiarity with cloud-native stacks (Azure preferred-Azure OpenAI, AI Search).\nPluses: Computer Vision (OCR, object detection) and frontend basics (React/Angular).\n\n Architecture & Delivery: Strong foundation in backend systems, secure API/modular design, distributed integration patterns, Agile delivery, and DevOps/MLOps/LLMOps pipelines (CI/CD, versioning, monitoring).\nDocumentation & Safety: Experience creating clear C4 diagrams, technical specs, and runbooks while enforcing responsible AI, privacy, and security-by-design.\nMindset & Communication:\nFluent in English with exceptional technical and non-technical stakeholder management skills.\nAnalytical, pragmatic problem-solver who turns ambiguity into concrete MVP roadmaps.\nAn ownership mindset with the ability to mentor, guide, and constructively challenge development teams.\nNice-to-Have Skills:\nCloud & Integration: Hands-on experience with Azure-native AI services, API management, enterprise integration platforms, and identity/secure access patterns.\nAdvanced AI: Familiarity with Computer Vision, agent/orchestration frameworks, TOGA, LLM observability, and evaluation tools.\nGovernance & Standards: Experience setting up reusable AI architecture blueprints/standards, data privacy protocols, responsible AI, and AI-specific threat modeling.\nWhat we offer you\nWorking at the world’s only fully integrated aluminum and leading renewable energy company\nDiverse, global teams\nFlexible work environment/home office (hybrid)\nWe provide you the freedom to be creative and to learn from experts\nPossibility to grow with the company\nAttractive benefit package\nEqual opportunities\nAt Hydro, we believe diversity makes us stronger.
