This role involves managing the process of introducing and implementing new stock items, as well as conducting both random and scheduled inventory counts to ensure accuracy and optimal stock levels.\nWhat you will be doing\nPerform accurate daily cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.\nCreate store numbers in Oracle as needed to ensure proper tracking.\nAnalyze and resolve inventory discrepancies to maintain correct stock levels.\nCreate and optimize store locations to maximize existing storage capacity.\nReview and adjust Min/Max order points to align inventory with current usage trends.\nCollaborate with all departments to identify obsolete and unidentified parts.\nCreate and maintain records for audits, adjustments, and additions to store inventory.\nConduct daily 5S activities and inventory audits in addition to regular cycle counts.\nProvide support to storeroom attendants as needed to ensure smooth operations.\nPerform additional duties as assigned.\nWhat will make you successful?\nRequired Education/Experience:\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nMust be able to obtain a forklift license.\nStrong organizational skills are required.\nPreferred Skills/Qualifications:\nPrevious Warehouse and Inventory Control Experience is preferred.\nAbility to communicate and collaborate effectively with all departments (including Senior Leadership) to resolve inventory-related issues.\nProficient in computer applications, with advanced Excel skills.
